Mimi's Prints was created by a diy crafter and daughter who love to apply a variety of designs, patterns and expressions on everyday items. We love making printed mugs and cards for friends and family for different occasions but they can some times look "homemade", which is great when you are 5 but not as an adult. We've partnered with professional sublimation artists to bring our ideas to life and give them a professional touch that will also endure the test of...the washer.
The site is an eclectic collection of our different interests as well as trendy sayings, designs, and patterns with a bit of humor thrown in for good measure. It is an evolving site so as trends change the site will be updated and change. We will also incorporate seasonal themed items and patterns.
Currently the items in our shop are prints of our water marbled paper. Using an ancient technique we use special paints on thickened water to create a variety of patterns. This technique has evolved from the Turkish Ebru and the Japanese Suminagashi art which uses special oil based paints to draw on water.
I hope you will find something you love on our site and be able to enjoy it as much as we loved making it.
